Pickled Garlic Scapes

Garlic scapes are the flowering shoots of hardneck garlic. We trim the scapes and pickle the tender shoots in a pickle brine. They are low-medium spicy.

Top Shelf Preserves buys their garlic scapes every year from Silver Spring Farm, an initiative of the Ottawa-Carleton Association for Persons with Developmental Disabilities (OCAPDD).
